Bella Beishembaeva is a professional fashion photographer, author of art projects, and researcher in the field of photographic art. Her work brings together fashion photography, conceptual portraiture, and emotional expressiveness. She approaches the image as a holistic system in which composition, light, and colour each contribute to the meaning of the final work.
Her series Breath, selected for the international exhibition Emotional Echoes in Italy, received the Art of Emotional Freedom Award 2024. She was also invited to present her work at an exhibition in Paris during Paris Fashion Week. In 2025 she served as an independent member of the jury of the ARTÉNO Award, an international competition that drew submissions from more than fifty countries. There she took part in selecting entries, compiling the shortlist, and determining the winners. She is a member of the Eurasian Art Union and of the National Association of Armenian Photographers (APNA). Her practice has been covered by ArtDaily, Our Culture, Les Docus, and EG.ru.
Alongside her creative work, Ms. Beishembaeva conducts research on how colour, composition, and visual language shape the emotional perception of an image, and her articles have been published in scholarly journals. Her method of working with the emotional state of the subject forms the basis of her professional course in artistic photography, which more than two hundred students have applied in their own practice. As a juror, she holds that evaluation is never a matter of personal taste. In her view, the expert's task is to discern where a passing trend ends and a genuinely original contribution begins.
